Welcoming Sally O’Hara to the Hupo Global Advisory Board

Former CEO of AXA Southeast Asia & Korea and Krungthai-AXA Life, Sally brings nearly three decades of insurance leadership and deep expertise in agency and bancassurance distribution across Southeast Asia.

Today, we’re delighted to welcome Sally O’Hara to Hupo’s Global Advisory Board.

Sally has spent close to 30 years building and leading insurance businesses across Asia. Most recently, she served as CEO of AXA Southeast Asia & Korea, overseeing life and general insurance operations across Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Korea. Previously, she was CEO of Krungthai-AXA Life and held senior leadership roles spanning agency, bancassurance, marketing and operations.

What makes Sally’s experience particularly relevant to Hupo is the breadth of her distribution perspective. She has led large-scale agency businesses, worked closely with major banking partners, and seen firsthand what it takes to improve advisor productivity while strengthening the human relationships at the heart of insurance.

Across Southeast Asia, agency and bancassurance remain critical routes to customers, but both are being reshaped by technology, changing customer expectations and the need for greater advisor productivity. Sally brings an operator’s perspective on how to make that transformation work in practice.
